“safe in the meadow”
When I painted this, I wasn’t sure what it would become. It felt organic and alive, yet, something was missing. I set it aside for a few days and returned with white oil stick in hand. I closed my eyes, felt the energy and made the marks. It was the sheep drinking at the river that were missing and now there they live amidst all the beauty of the meadow.
